2004 Rookie All Star Award Peachtree Regionals
In the International House of Technologies debut year of competing in the FIRST robotics competition, we won the highest honor for a rookie team: the Rookie All Star award. It honors new teams who show outstanding skill, drive, aspirations, and inspirations within their first year of competing.
2004 Rookie All Star Award Nationals
iHOT won the Rookie All Star award from the National level competing against hundreds of teams and thousands of students from across the world.
2005 Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers award for Entrepreneurship
iHOT won this award at the national level for its comprehensive business plan. iHOT carefully planned...stuff? Really, we planned stuff? I find this difficult to believe.
2005 3ds Max Autodesk visualization award (animation) Peachtree Regional
The regional and the Nationals award for Autodesk visualization/ animation were obtained through extremely hard work and a lot of creativity. Incorporating artistic and technological skills to create short animated movies portraying a universal message supplied by FIRST all elements of the animation were made by the animation team such as the music.

2006 Aim High Peachtree Regional winner
With amazing team collaboration, inspiration, robot design, programming, animation, spirit and drive team 1414 managed to sweep the board in the 2006 Peachtree Regionals- not only reaching to one of the coveted top spots of the competition with the work of the engineers and programmers but hit the top spot with their animation, overall spirit and attention to the importance of safety within the world of robotics.

Who’s hot? iHOT! The spirit award shows the team’s undeniable spirit and love for their fellow team mates, their catchy cheers, their flags celebrating their internationalism and extremely hard work.
2006 3ds Max Autodesk visualization award (animation) Peachtree Regional
iHOT's 2006 animation, A Goblin's Epiphany, addressed the importance of environmental protection. It can be seen here.
2006 Peachtree Regional Safety Runner-Up
iHOT made an animation describing the importance of safety in mechanical engineering and later was recognized for having unusually good safety procedures in place at the Peachtree Regional.
2007 3ds Max Autodesk visualization award (animation) Peachtree Regional
iHOT's 2007 animation, Cavemen, addressed the value of innovation in contemporary society via the metaphor of a caveman attempting to reach the moon in order to eat its cheese. (It also addressed the importance of scientific knowledge.) It can be seen here.
